The amazing Villa Balbianello tour

Villa Balbianello is a gem in Lake Como, so fascinating that was chosen by George Lukas as the set for ‘Star Wars: The attacks of the Clones’! This villa has a very long history: it was a monastery, converted into a private luxury residence ( open to the public), where the last owner Guido Monzino spent his time planning his expeditions to North Pole, Mount Everest and many others; since he was so passionate with mountaineering, he set his personal museum about his expeditions. Believe me, it’s worth a visit!!

The Gardens of Villa Melzi

The gardens of Villa Melzi won the prize as the most beautiful private gardens in Italy in 2016. The villa and the gardens were projected in the early years of the nineteenth century and nowadays they still belong to the heirs of the first owners. The gardens offer you different amazing views of lake Como, colorful bushes of azaleas, historical trees and Japanese garden welcome you. Its history, the new interesting little museum take you back to those fascinantig times!
