PDFPrintE-mail

We start our tour in Bellagio, known as ‘The pearl of  lake Como’, a charming historical village on lake Como. We walk to ‘Punta Spartivento’ to see a stunning view of the two branches of lake Como and the mountains all around. We get to Bellagio town centre, rich in history, to visit  S. James’s church, one of the oldest church in Bellagio, dating back to the XIIth century and declared National Monument in 1904. We have a look at the most popular shopping streets and  after a nice walk along the lake shore we visit the amazing gardens of Villa Melzi, its beautiful row of sycamore trees, bushes of azaleas and camelias, the mausoleum and the museum; Villa Melzi still belongs to the descendants of Melzi d’Eril, whom the villa was built for at the beginning of the nineteenth century. At the end of the tour you have free time to do some shopping.
